Annie Gilpin is a nanny hired to watch over the President's son, Henry Collins, on Halloween.
Chucky: Season 3 (2023)[]
As the rest of the family are getting ready to head downstairs to the Halloween Gala, Annie is brought in to look after Henry and his doll "Joseph". She introduces herself to James and Charlotte, claiming that in her past life she was a theatre major which helped prepare for a career working with children. When Henry asks her if she believes in ghosts, she explains her belief that after people die their essence stays behind, and this is only seen by the most "special" people like herself. Charlotte interjects to stop this conversation, which she sees as inappropriate for her son. She and James head down to the party, leaving Annie alone with the boy and his doll. When Henry tells her that "Joseph" wants to carve the pumpkin, she tells him that she will be doing the carving and takes the pumpkin out of the dining room.
After she finishes carving the pumpkin, Annie finds Henry reading Ghosts at 1600 in his bedroom. She comments how she has also read that book, and asks Henry if he has ever seen anything supernatural in the White House. Before he can answer, she jumps in and remarks how she has seen the ghosts of Andrew Jackson, Abigail Adams and Abraham Lincoln. As Henry is shocked to hear this, she comforts him by explaining that ghosts are harmless and nothing to be afraid of. He inquires what they want, and she tells him that they are mostly just bored or want to play. When Henry suggests hide-and-seek, she enthusiastically agrees and allows Henry to run off to find a hiding spot as she counts to ten before chasing after him.
Death[]
Instead of searching for Henry, she makes her way into the Halloween gala. Walking towards the center of the ballroom, she talks to herself about how she can see ghosts all around her. Suddenly, she stops as she hears a strange jingling noise, and sees a single bolt dropping down from above. She looks up to see the large chandelier fall from the ceiling onto her and several others, killing them instantly. Although Annie initially appears to be fine as she stands up, her face begins sliding off as it was sliced by the chandelier, and she falls down dead.

- Annie is Chucky's 85th victim since Child's Play.
- Her Halloween costume is of Mary Poppins, the magical nanny from the 1964 Walt Disney film Mary Poppins.
- Sarah Sherman has previously played Chucky before, during a Saturday Night Live skit in 2022.
