- "This isn't a joking matter, Grant. I'm serious. You're putting me in a really tough spot. But I guess, uh... you're in a tough spot too, right?"
- ―Hicks to Grant.
Hicks is a Secret Service Agent, assigned to guard the President's son Grant Collins.
Chucky: Season 3 (2023)[]
After the death of the President's youngest son Joseph, Hicks and the other Secret Service agents guard over the First Family as they mourn at his grave. Henry finds a Good Guy doll hidden behind the gravestone, and immediately takes a liking to "Joseph". The boy is allowed to bring this doll back with him to the White House.
One night, there is a power outage in the White House. Hicks rushes to Grant's room and catches him smoking pot. He scolds him before leading him to the elevator to the underground bunker. As they begin their descent, the power suddenly shuts off in the elevator's back-up generator. However, it quickly turns back on again, as does the power to the rest of the White House. The Secret Service halt the escort, and allow the family back to their beds.
When Henry's Secret Service agent Teddy dies of an apparent suicide, Hicks informs Grant that his younger brother will be staying in his room as Henry's room is cordoned off as a crime scene. While Hicks checks up on how Grant is handling the recent events, he also warns him about smoking pot in the White House as it could get him fired if Grant gets caught. After Grant begins texting a girl named Lexy that he met over Tik Tok, they decide to meet in person at Balzac's Coffee Shop. Hicks escorts Grant inside, and almost sends Lexy, Devon and Jake out of the building until Grant reassures him that they are his friends. After giving them a look over he allows them in, but keeps an eye on them as they talk with Grant.
On the night of the Halloween Gala, Hicks is in attendance to watch over Grant in the ballroom. Suddenly in the midst of the evening, the power goes out in the White House. Hicks quickly escorts Grant out of the ballroom to safety along with the rest of his family, although they witness the large chandelier in the ballroom falling down and killing 10 partygoers. A couple days later, Hicks is walking Grant to school when he spots Lexy waving at him. Although Grant is still reluctant, Hicks recommends he take initiative, to stop just looking at her texts and actually talk to her. While Grant talks to Lexy, Hicks keeps watch over them until he pulls him away to get to homeroom.
After the murder of her husband James, Hicks and Coop aid in Charlotte's plan to escape the White House. As Grant is locked in his room and is guarded by a CIA agent, Hicks is able to get him out under the pretense that his mother wishes to speak with him. From there, Hicks and Coop escort the First Family to the front entrance where a getaway car is waiting. However, Grant refuses to leave without his friends who are still being held hostage inside. Charlotte cannot stop him from staying behind, and Hicks reassures her that he will keep him safe.
As the two walk back into the White House, Hicks headbutts the CIA agent guarding the door so Grant can rescue Jake, Devon and Lexy. However, they are immediately found by Pryce, who requests their help. The five of them are taken to the Oval Office, where they are introduced to Dr. Carol Lindstrom. She explains to them that the White House is haunted by the ghosts of those who died in the building, including that of Charles Lee Ray. And in order persuade Charles' ghost to move on and find peace, they must have a séance. Hicks aids in the séance, and witnesses Charles' ghost murder Carol, Melanie and Spence. Afterwards, Jake volunteers to be put under temporary cardiac arrest, allowing him to go after Chucky in the Spirit Realm, though he only have five minutes before they must revive him.
Death[]
Once the timer on Devon's phone reaches two minutes, Pryce leaves the room with his CIA agents. Suspicious, Hicks follows after them spots one of them setting up a bomb. He aims his gun at the agent, but Pryce raises a knife to Hicks' throat, revealing to him that no matter what Hicks does, the Collins family is going down. He slits Hicks' throat while the CIA agent sets the bomb's timer for one minute.
Everyone starts fleeing the building when the bombs begin detonating. Grant splits off from the others to look for Hicks, finding him barely alive in the Oval Office. With his final breath, he gives Grant the White House's skeleton key and asks him to promise that he will make it out alive.
