Chucky: Season 3 (2023)[]
The day after a power outage occurred in the White House, Melanie holds a press conference to inform the reporters of the situation. Although she claims the outage was simply a mechanical malfunction, a reporter named Gretchen questions if Homeland Security has ruled out the possibility of the outage being caused by criminals, terrorists, or espionage. Melanie explains the cause of the outage has not been discovered yet, but claims it is not serious. Gretchen retorts that it was serious enough to move the President's family to the underground bunker. Melanie clarifies they were just following a protocol, but Gretchen presses further asking if this incident could point to further concerns in security. Instead of directly answering, Melanie brings up the President's election promise of complete transparency, and promises any concerns about security would be divulged to the press.
Later that day, Melanie meets with James and Spence in the Oval Office to further discuss the power outage. Spence informs them that it was the result of a hack, and although they still don't know the source, they do know the breach didn't get past the power grid. Although Spence insists that they not let this information leave the Oval Office, James reiterates his platform of transparency and that they will tell the press the truth about the hack.
That afternoon, a Secret Service agent named Teddy is found dead from an apparent suicide. Melanie holds another press conference that evening to report Teddy's death. Gretchen questions if the President will still uphold his promise to be completely honest after this tragedy. Melanie answers by explaining that the President feels difficult times like this are when openness and honesty and needed most.
On the night of the Halloween Gala, Melanie dresses as Red Riding Hood and attends the party with Spence. They run into Gretchen, who snuck herself into the party. She questions them on why notable CIA agent Pryce is in attendance, but Spence simply replies that he is just a guest. Melanie further questions why Pryce is here after Gretchen walks away, and Spence again only says that he is observing. Suddenly in the midst of the evening, the power goes out in the White House. During this confusion, Melanie and Spence witnesses the large chandelier in the ballroom falls down and kills 10 partygoers.
The day after the Halloween Gala, James holds a press conference to talk about the tragedy. During his speech, he suddenly becomes disorientated and runs out of the room. Melanie then takes over the press conference, asking for respect for the President's family as they grieve.
When James is found dead, Melanie is informed by Pryce about the situation with James being murdered by Chucky. In order to facilitate a believable story for the public, Melanie and Pryce orchestrate a story with the help of Randall Jenkins, the president's body double, to make it seem like James suddenly became gravely ill. This will allow James to "die" a believable death prime Spence to take over his position as president.
Death[]
With several supernatural occurrences in the White House, Pryce brings in Dr. Carol Lindstrom to ensure that the building is free of ghosts. As the soul of Charles Lee Ray is still murdering people inside, they decide to have a séance to try and convince him to move on. Melanie and Spence decide to join in, with her excited as she has never seen a ghost before.
However, during the séance Charles douses them all in blood from the fire sprinklers. He then lifts up the EVP speaker he was using to communicate with them and throws it at the ground, coming in contact with the blood on the ground. Carol, Melanie and Spence are all electrocuted, and immediately drop dead after Pryce disconnects the speaker.
