Walter Criswell is the stern and strict manager of the department store, that Maggie and Karen work at.
Child's Play (1988)
He scolds Karen when she leaves her jewellery stand to go and buy her son a doll from a peddler in the alley. He then informs Karen that another employee has called in sick, so Karen would have to take her spot.
Though she tries to get out of it, Mr. Criswell threatens to fire her if she does not do it. Maggie offers to take her spot, but he reminds Maggie that she works in the shoe department, not the jewellery department.
