Peter Ray is the father of Charles Lee Ray, the Lakeshore Strangler.
Chucky: Season 1 (2021)[]
While Chucky reminisces about his first kill, he has a flashback to his 7th birthday in 1965. His parents throw him a party with kids from the neighbourhood. Peter takes photos of Charles with his camera blowing out the candles on his cake and breaking open his piñata. Another mom at the party turns the radio on, and Peter and Elizabeth gather around to listen. There is a mass murderer in Hackensack, and he killed two more people that day. The newscaster urges everyone not to go out alone at night.
Death[]
That night, Charles wakes up after hearing glass breaking and the sound of a struggle. He goes downstairs to see the murderer had broken into their house and attacked his father. As he is being stabbed to death, Peter turns to see his son Charles sitting on the staircase and with his final breath, tells him to run.
Trivia[]
- In the Child's Play 2 novel, Charles' father was absent in his life, and left before his son was born.
