Sam Gavin is a detective of the Beverly Hills police department, investigating the disappearance of Nica Pierce.
Chucky: Season 2 (2022)[]
Sam believes that the actress Jennifer Tilly may have something to do with Nica's disappearance, unaware that Jennifer is actually Tiffany. To begin his investigation, he climbs into Jennifer's mansion and rings her front doorbell, prompting Tiffany to answer. He asks if she knows Nica Pierce's name, as shortly after Tiffany met Nica at Harrogate, she killed several people then escaped. Cutting the conversation short, Tiffany awkwardly backs away and slams the door in his face.
Death[]
Later that day, Sam sounds the front gate alarm. Tiffany assumes that it is her children coming to visit, and lets him in. At the front door, he explains to Tiffany that he believes Nica is here. She confesses that Nica is in fact here, but that she is innocent. Tiffany lets him inside, slamming the door behind him. She asks him if he has ever gone against his own values to protect someone he loves. However, before he can answer, she slits his throat with a nail file and kills him.
