- "Henry, you need friends that you can talk to and play with, and go to when you're feeling sad and scared."
- ―Teddy to Henry.
Theodore "Teddy" Brooks is a Secret Service Agent, assigned to guard the President's son Henry Collins.
Chucky: Season 3 (2023)[]
After the death of the President's youngest son Joseph, Teddy and the other Secret Service agents guard over the First Family as they mourn at his grave. Henry finds a Good Guy doll hidden behind the gravestone, and immediately takes a liking to "Joseph". The boy is allowed to bring this doll back with him to the White House.
One night, there is a power outage in the White House. As Henry is escorted out by Teddy, he informs him that the ghosts took his doll "Joseph". Teddy lets Charlotte take Henry to the elevator while he goes back to the boy's room. He cannot find the doll in Henry's room, and instead sees it laying on the floor in the hallway. He brings Henry his doll, and they luckily do not remain in the elevator for long as the power is restored.
The next day, Teddy picks up Henry from school and notices that he isn't looking to make any friends at school. He tries to suggest he make friends his own age, so he can have someone to play with and talk to when he's sad. However, Henry has no interest in befriending others, and insists the only friends he needs are Teddy and "Joseph". As they reach the car, Teddy remarks how Henry reminds him of his son Malcolm, and how they are both good kids with big hearts.
Death[]
On the drive back to the White House, Henry tells Teddy that he's scared to go back in. Regardless, he braves the White House doors with Teddy by his side, and enters the Executive Residence to ask his father James where his doll is. When he learns "Joseph" is in his room, he asks Teddy to do a sweep before he goes in himself. Inside Henry's bedroom, Teddy immediately spots Chucky sitting in a small rocking chair, and notices the letter opener tucked into his overalls. As he takes it out, Chucky finally springs to life and kills him with his own handgun. He then places the gun back into Teddy's hand, to frame it as a suicide.
During Teddy's funeral, Gretchen gets in touch with a private investigator to find out about Teddy's past. Through bank statements, she learns that a couple days before his "suicide", he put a down payment on a cruise line for a trip to Alaska with his wife.
Despite his death, Teddy's ghost still lingers in the White House. While Henry is reaching for a blanket in his room, he sees blood splatters begin dripping down from the wall. Teddy's eyeball descends down to him, blinking at him as his disembodied voice calls out his name. Henry then has a vision of Teddy shooting himself in the head, causing him to scream and run out of the room. When Charles Lee Ray enters the Spirit Realm, Teddy is seen guarding the door to the Oval Office where Damballa is waiting for him.
