The Cult is a group of Good Guy dolls or people that have been possessed by Chucky or aid him of their own volition. Using a special spell; Chucky can possess multiple host bodies at once, becoming what he refers to as his “Cult”. Not every member is possessed by Chucky; Tiffany willingly joined the Cult because of her devotion to her beloved doll.
Andy and Kyle managed to take down several possessed Good Guy dolls so far.
History[]
Sometime after killing the Pierce family Chucky discovered a new spell on Voodoofordummies.com that would allow him to break his soul into pieces and possess multiple hosts at once. Chucky sent himself to young Alice Pierce and either broke a piece of his soul into her or transferred his soul completely into her body before putting a part of his soul back into his original body. He then sent his original body to Andy Barclay but Andy shot him and kept his decapitated head as a trophy. The Chucky in Alice's body continued killing under the guise of a cute little girl until one of her victims fought back and killed her. At some point Chucky transferred a piece of his soul into two other Good Guy Dolls. One of the dolls was left at a garage sale in Hackensack, New Jersey, Chucky's hometown as part of a larger plan. The other was given to Nica Pierce by Tiffany at the asylum where she had been imprisoned since Chucky framed her for the murders of her family.
While at the Asylum Chucky possessed another Good Guy doll that Dr. Foley had been using as part of a group therapy. The two dolls killed several patients before capturing Nica and taking her to Foley's office where they discovered another Good Guy doll with a shaved head which unknown to them had been sent by Andy Barclay. They possessed the doll and together the trio killed Nurse Carlos before going on their separate missions. One Chucky used a spell to Possess Nica, allowing her to regain use of her legs before killing Dr. Foley and leaving the asylum with Tiffany. Another killed several more people in the hospital with a power drill before pretending to be a regular doll. The buzz-cut attempted to kill Andy who had arrived at the asylum but recognising him as the one he sent, Andy reached inside the doll and pulled out a gun, shooting it several times before stomping its head to mush, killing it.
Meanwhile the Chucky in Hackensack was purchased by a teenage boy named Jake Wheeler who was initially intending on using him in his sculpture of doll parts. However Chucky revealed himself to Jake after killing his abusive alcoholic father and attempted to groom Jake into becoming a killer for unknown reasons. However Jake rejected Chucky's attempts to turn him into a killer and Chucky retaliated by killing the parents of Jake's friends. Chucky eventually managed to push Jake's cousin Junior into killing his father by blaming him for his mother's apparent suicide (she was actually killed by Chucky) and this enacted a voodoo spell which allowed Chucky to possess an army of 72 Good Guy doll's that had been gathered at Charles Lee Ray's childhood home by Tiffany. Another doll came to life and attempted to kill Jake and Lexy Cross but it was shot dead by Kyle.

- In Cult of Chucky, Tiffany had asked Andy if he wanted to join the Cult, but he refused.
- After being shot by Andy and his severed head kept captive in his house, Chucky had to possess multiple Good Guy dolls to do his bidding, hence why there are three Chucky dolls running around in Cult of Chucky.
- In An Affair To Dismember, Kyle explains that, with the exception of Nica, Chucky can only split his soul into Good Guy dolls, which gives him a limited number of dolls to transfer his soul into.
