Child's Play (2019)[]
While at work, Karen refunds a customer after returning a defective Buddi doll, claiming that something is wrong with it. She then takes the doll back to Wes, asking what happens to returned dolls. He explains that they are taken back to Kaslan and most likely tossed into a trash compactor, as the new model is coming out in two weeks and no one is going to care. With her son Andy's birthday coming up, she tries to get Wes to allow her to take the doll. but he refuses. However, after blackmailing him about telling his wife that he had sex with a coworker in the warehouse, Karen takes the Buddi doll home.
Death[]
On the night of the Buddi 2 doll premiere, Wes stands behind a curtain dressed up as one of the dolls, wearing an oversized Buddi head. Just before the curtain pulls back, Chucky stabs him in the neck through the costume leaving him walking around disorientated. Kneeling down in front of a little girl, he takes the Buddi head off and unintentionally sprays the girl's face with blood. Mike rushes to his side as he collapses to the ground, telling him to keep pressure on the wound. Suddenly the lights go out as Chucky takes over all the electronics in the store, and flies a drone straight towards Mike. Karen pushes Mike out of the way just as Wes stands up behind him, causing the drone to strike and slash apart his chest, killing him.
